We are currently recruiting Recycling Operatives to join a busy, fast-paced recycling facility in Whittle-Le-Woods. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy practical work, are comfortable in an outdoor/industrial setting, and want to contribute to a company focused on sustainability and waste reduction.

The Role:

As a Recycling Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the plant, ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.

Key duties include:

General labouring and groundwork around the site.
Picking and sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor belt.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Assisting with the movement of materials and basic site setup.
Carrying out tasks such as shovelling, sweeping, and manual handling.
Working safely alongside heavy machinery.
Following all health and safety procedures.

This is a physically demanding role in an outdoor/industrial environment, so you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

We’re looking for candidates who:

Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Can follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Are reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

What’s on Offer:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts).
Shift Times:
- 7:00am – 4:00pm.
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
Rotation: Weekly rotation between both shifts.
Contract: Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
Stability: Long-term role with a sustainability-focused business.
